Hello blog readers. I apologize for the lack of activity in the past week, we were experiencing some trouble with our internet service. This is just a quick update to fill you in on things we have been doing. We have worked on all sorts of things since I last wrote. Biography projects, Google Earth tours, interpreting data, publishing narratives, and so much more. Below you will see some shots from our work on "storyboards" for our Google Earth tours. Also keep checking back, as we hope to have some student written post for this blog added within the week!

Origami Monday!
On some Mondays we work with the Kindergartners to make some Origami. We recently worked with them to make some swans. This is a tradition we have had going in third grade for the past few years, and we always look forward to Origami Monday!
Look at them making crisp folds! That is what makes our origami so beautiful.
Also: Keep a lookout for our origami reminder bugs!

Permission Post
This post is dual function. It will act as a permission form as well as a blog post! We will be working on and updating this blog throughout the year. In order to "cover all of my bases" I will ask for consent from parents to use; images, videos, and original thought material (work samples, text, poems etc.) from/of their student on this blog. You will see a traditional paper form in our folder this week, please sign this and send it back as soon as you can!

Introductory post!
This is our new blog! We will be updating it frequently, hopefully each day! The plan is for it to be updated by me at first, and eventually be taken over by student volunteers! Thanks so much for checking it out, and enjoy!
